• Sustainability

Sustainability is the cornerstone of our business. We carefully curate brands and products based on their commitments to sustainability, and we prioritize materials and business practices that are good for the planet + good for you.

  • Quality + Safety

Our handmade and curated inventory items are made to last for generations, because we believe in buying for quality and not necessarily quantity. And because the safety of your family is as important to us as it is to you, we do our best to source the highest quality items that are safe for babies and children.

  • A Parent's Space

We've spoken to more families shopping for their kids than most, and so it is important to us that parents feel seen at Weithaus and that their needs are met. We sell items because they're beautiful, and because we believe they empower parents and their children through every stage of life.

Our Story

Born in 2025, the idea for Weithaus first began on cottage porches and in lake house kitchens. In laughter and love and in family.

I was raised in Georgia, and my family shared a rustic cabin built by my grandfather on Lake Lanier. Weithaus was written on the side. This house was full of homey touches, the lived-in feeling of family, and all the warm and fuzzy feelings of childhood.

In my early 20s I moved across the country into a tiny cottage on a tiny island in Washington State. Fields and forests and oceans became my closest companions during the Pandemic while I furnished a seaside cottage with the comforts of home.

Finally, life took me back east to the bustling streets of Brooklyn, NY where I studied fashion design before bringing it all full circle back home in Georgia.

My Grandmother was a quilter, and after studying design in New York and falling in love with all things fabric, I too began making baby quilts and other handmade gifts for the babies and tots and loved ones in my life. I soon wanted to be able to share these heirlooms, and other objects of beauty, with the rest of the world. And so, Weithaus was born.

Weithaus combines all those special intangibles from my life -- the vintage heirlooms of my family's history, the bucolic bliss of my country cottage, and my New Yorker's obsession with all things style. All from my heart to your home. -C
