The mystical, magical powers of the universe come together as two women – in different parts of the world – wish on the same star. One is hoping for a child, the other for a home for her child. What happens is nothing short of miraculous.

Adoption is complex – a unique experience for everyone. Each family’s story is different, and sometimes there are no answers to our questions. I wrote this as a way to explain to our young daughter how loved she was. She’s now 31 and an accomplished artist. It’s a dream come true for both of us to share this story with the world.
